Bébé heureux

The full-term child

Sleep:
👉🏻It does not yet differentiate between day and night;
👉🏻He sleeps a lot (around 5 p.m. per 24 hours);
👉🏻Baby falls asleep in "restless sleep" and wakes up in "restless awakening" he may possibly scream when waking up. It is not a state of ill-being!

In addition to this, you will need to know more about it.

📌The baby's first month is often agitated and this agitation increases if the daily sleeping time is insufficient , if the child is embarrassed by not respecting his sleep, or by digestive pains.

In addition to this, you will need to know more about it.

The reduced sleep time leads to chronic fatigue which increases digestive suffering and generates an almost permanent state of nervousness.

In addition to this, you will need to know more about it.

A consultation with your Osteopath Rafaele Hana will allow you to help your baby find a balanced sleep cycle thanks to gentle and precise work on tissues and areas with mobility restrictions.

In addition to this, you will need to know more about it.

Food:
👉🏻 For a child born at term and without a health problem, food takes priority over sleep : so if the baby is asleep, there is no need to wake him up to eat! But when he wakes up, he is not only in a “restless awakening” but also has an urgent need to be in contact with his mother and to be fed: hence the almost systematic crying.
👉🏻At this age, as soon as a child is bad, whatever the reason, it always gives the impression of being hungry . Each time he is offered to eat he will eat (but that does not mean that he is hungry. This overeating can lead to digestive problems.

In addition to this, you will need to know more about it.

📌To no longer be fooled: if the feed only lasts a few minutes or even seconds, it is a “comfort feed”. Overeating can cause digestive discomfort

In addition to this, you will need to know more about it.

We will take into account a very important factor: breastfeeding or bottle feeding.
The choice is up to the mother.
